Crow Wing River is a 110 mile route. Put in at Tenth Crow Wing Lake, Popular sandy bottomed river for beginners. Chain of Lakes in headwaters gives way to lush forests and marshes. There are numerous campgrounds along the route. Take out at Sylvan Dam near Sylvan or continue to the Mississippi River. This is a State designated canoe route.
